Stephen Owusu, Esq. attended Prempeh College, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Ghana, Ghana School of Law, and Columbia University (New York).

His professional experience spans private legal practice with Kwame Gyan and Associates as well as Faibille and Faibille (Constance Chambers), bench practice (with the Judicial Service of Ghana), and corporate practice (with the Right to Information Commission).

He has also been an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Law School. He has been a pioneering staff member of the Right to Information Commission, assisting in diverse ways in setting up the administrative structures of the Commission.
