RTI Commission Brings Colour, Fun and Team Spirit to RTI Month 2026

The Right to Information Commission (RTIC) came alive with colour, laughter and camaraderie as staff across the Commission celebrated “RTIC Colour Day”—the maiden activity under its Staff Engagement and Team-Building Programme for RTI Month 2026.

Held under the theme, “Celebrating Our People, Strengthening Our Team,” Colour Day offered staff a refreshing break from their regular duties and provided a vibrant platform for colleagues to connect, interact and celebrate one another.

Dressed in an array of RTI colours, staff enthusiastically participated in several fun-filled activities designed to strengthen relationships, promote teamwork and boost morale. Highlights included the “Guess Who” Challenge, Fill the Bottle, Pick and Act, and the Indoor Games Challenge. Participants demonstrated creativity, teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit while cheering on their colleagues.

The excitement extended beyond the Head Office, as colleagues in the regional offices simultaneously organised their own activities, ensuring that the spirit of Colour Day was felt throughout the Commission.

Beyond the fun and games, the event created an opportunity for staff to interact in a relaxed environment, appreciate the unique personalities and talents of their colleagues, and build stronger relationships that support effective workplace collaboration.

Members of Management also joined the celebration, including Ms. Kate Augusta Swanzy, General Manager, Administration, and Mr. Kofi Amoah Sarpong, General Manager, Policy Planning, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation (PPBME), who shared in the excitement and camaraderie of the occasion.

RTIC Colour Day forms part of a broader programme of staff engagement activities being organised during RTI Month 2026. The initiative reflects the Commission’s commitment to building not only an effective workforce but also a connected, collaborative and positive organisational culture in which every member of staff feels valued and appreciated.

With this maiden activity setting an exciting tone, staff look forward to the other engaging events scheduled for the remainder of RTI Month 2026.
